Bitumen Loading Arms
Carbis Loadtec Bitumen Loading Arms offer a solution to the many technical challenges facing operators handling this product.
The issue with Bitumen is that it needs to be maintained at a very high temperature. Depending on the type of Bitumen being transferred, this can be anywhere between 160 oC and 220oC. This requires the loading arm to be heated, even when it isn’t in use.
Carbis Loadtec provide electrical trace, steam or hot oil jackets to ensure temperature is maintained. Along with insulation and cladding, this type of loading arm provides secure and easy handling for operators as well as an option to upgrade to full Autoload®.
