Transloading Skids from Carbis Loadtec are used for temporary or highly flexible rail or road loading and unloading. Mobile Transloaders are a flexible and cost-effective solution for non-permanent loading applications. They offer the ability to work safely at height on road or rail tankers and provide accurate, metered loading or offloading of bulk liquids to an alternative transport. Propane, Ethanol, Crude Oil, Aviation fuel, NGL, LPG, and other refined petroleum products are portable road or railcar Transloaders commonly used.
In cases where terminals are planned but construction progress is slow, Transloading Skids will provide an instant revenue stream to owners wanting to develop their businesses in remote regions. They represent a cost-effective method of precise transfer equipment without massive infrastructure.
Transloaders can be set up for bottom-bottom, top-bottom or bottom-top transfers between rail cars and tank trucks. With some basic infrastructure (stable surface), a transloading terminal can be set up within weeks.
The Mobile Transloading Carts can be towed into position and shuffled along a rail car siding during a shift. Volumes can be transferred via Bluetooth or WiFi to a security gate, and a Bill of Lading can be printed and issued from there. They can utilise hoses for the transfer or, more likely, Carbis Loadtec Loading Arms.
