Swivel Joints by Carbis Loadtec provide pipe articulation to cope with expansion, vibration, or the simple need to move out of the way. Our swivel joints offer an increasingly popular solution as companies move away from hose lines, which require the integrity of a pipe with the flexibility of a hose.

The Carbis Loadtec SJ400 swivel joint is ideally suited to the rigours of harsh environments, high pressures and low maintenance regimes.

Comprising a separate bearing flanged on both sides, the SJ400 is available in carbon steel, 316L & 904L stainless steel and Duplex 2205 with various seals to suit all challenges, including cryogenic liquids.

The SJ400 is also available with PTFE lining and can be equipped to handle highly toxic liquids by having a pressurised seal system with alarms.

The clever design of the bearing module allows greater load capacity on the swivel because the larger-than-average ball tracks have a broader circumference than conventional swivel designs. This extends the swivel’s life and eradicates the need for dual tracks in a traditional arm of loading design.
