Bottom Loading Arms
Bottom Loading Arms from Carbis Loadtec provide a safer, more efficient alternative to traditional top loading systems. Designed to allow operators to load road and rail tankers from ground level, these loading arms eliminate the need for working at height – significantly reducing the risk of falls and improving site safety.
For more than a decade, the industry has steadily transitioned towards bottom loading to meet stricter safety standards and improve operational efficiency. However, this solution depends on the tanker’s configuration: the receiving vehicle must be equipped for bottom loading and feature adequate venting or vapour return at ground level. Ideally, tankers will also include an integrated high-level alarm for overfill protection.
Where products or applications still require top venting, Carbis Loadtec also supplies safe tanker access systems to ensure compliance and safety during loading.
With over 25 years of experience in tanker loading and fall prevention, Carbis Loadtec’s bottom loading solutions are trusted worldwide for their precision engineering, reliability, and operator safety.
