Carbis Loadtec — Media Use Policy
1. Ownership & Copyright
All images, photographs, graphics, designs, illustrations, logos, videos, and visual content (together, the “Media”) displayed on this website (www.carbisloadtec.com) are either owned by Carbis Loadtec Group Ltd, licensed to Carbis Loadtec, or used with permission. All rights in such Media are reserved worldwide.
2. Prohibited Uses
Unless you have obtained express written permission from Carbis Loadtec, you are strictly prohibited from doing any of the following:
- copying, reproducing, republishing, uploading, posting, transmitting, or distributing any part of the Media in any form (electronic, mechanical, photocopying, recording, or otherwise)
- modifying, adapting, cropping, creating derivative works from, or altering any Media (images or videos) in any way, other than proportional resizing or trimming for layout
- using the Media in any commercial context (advertising, marketing, packaging, resale) without permission
- using the Media in connection with any product or service in a way that misleads or suggests endorsement by Carbis Loadtec
- embedding or incorporating the Media (or portions thereof) into any other website, publication, presentation, or digital media, unless explicitly permitted
- removing, obscuring, or altering any copyright, watermark, logo, credits, or other proprietary notice associated with the Media
- for videos: overlaying additional branding, graphics, or text on Carbis Loadtec video content without explicit permission
3. Permitted Uses (By Permission Only)
Requests to use any Media must be submitted in writing in advance via our email. When permission is granted, use will typically be subject to conditions (e.g. attribution, usage period, purpose restrictions). All permitted uses must comply with those conditions.
4. Attribution / Credit
Where permission is granted, you must provide an appropriate credit. For example:
“Image/Video courtesy of Carbis Loadtec Group”
You may place this attribution adjacent to the image or video (e.g. beneath or in a caption), or in a dedicated credit section of the page. The attribution must not imply endorsement beyond the scope of permission.
For embedded videos, you may also include the credit in the video description or a closing frame overlay (so long as it is visible and not removable).
5. Termination of Permission
Carbis Loadtec reserves the right to revoke any previously granted permission at any time, in its sole discretion. Upon revocation, you must cease all use of the Media immediately, and, if requested, destroy or delete all copies of the Media in your possession or control.
6. Enforcement & Remedies
Unauthorised use of our Media may constitute copyright infringement or breach of applicable laws. Carbis Loadtec will enforce its rights to the fullest extent permitted by law, which may include seeking injunctions, damages, or legal fees.
7. Reporting Unauthorised Use
If you become aware of any unauthorised use of our Media, please notify us promptly at [email protected], providing:
- the location (URL or physical place) of the unauthorised use
- a copy or screenshot of the unauthorised use
- your contact information
8. Usage by Affiliates, Partners, and Agents
Any use of Carbis Loadtec Media by your partners, agents, distributors, affiliates, or subcontractors must comply with this Media Use Policy and any specific license you hold.
9. Canonicalisation / SEO Guidance for Third-Party Use
To protect SEO authority and avoid duplicate content issues, we request that any third party using Carbis Loadtec text, images, or video content adopt canonical tags pointing back to our original pages.
How to implement canonical tags:
- Identify any pages on your site displaying Carbis Loadtec content (images, videos, or textual content).
- In the HTML section of those pages, insert a canonical link element. For example: <link rel=”canonical” href=”https://www.carbisloadtec.com/loading-arms/” />
- (Replace /loading-arms/ with the specific original Carbis page.)
- If your site runs on a CMS (e.g. WordPress), use an SEO plugin (Yoast SEO, Rank Math, etc.) and set the “Canonical URL” field to the Carbis Loadtec original URL.
- After publishing, verify by viewing the page source (via browser → View Source) and confirming the <link rel=”canonical” …> is present and correct.
Why this matters:
- Helps search engines understand which version is “primary”
- Prevents your page from getting penalised for duplicate content
- Ensures that the original Carbis page retains SEO value
10. Modifications to This Policy
Carbis Loadtec reserves the right to update or modify this Media Use Policy at any time, with or without notice. The version posted on this site is the current one. Continued use of our site or any Media constitutes acceptance of any changes.
