Location: EventCity, Manchester, UK
Date: 13-14 March 2020
Stand Number: D32
'Rise of the (Tanker Loading) Robots' is the subject of Carbis Loadtec's presentation at this year's CHEMUK. Managing Director, Alec Keeler, who is renowned as an industry speaker, will be covering the innovative subject on stage 2 on Wednesday, May 13th at 2.30.
Alec's presentation will assist the audience to develop an awareness of the risks involved with handling articulated pipe (Loading Arms) and hoses at height. This also applies to the risk of exposure to fumes, liquids, trips and falls. In many cases, operators are injured through physical exertion of handling these pipe systems that may be poorly designed or unsuitable for evolving legislation or tank sizes.
Alec will introduce the concept of using entirely robotic loading systems. Systems that use computer technology, smart cameras and intelligent actuation to eliminate the need for an operator to handle a pressurised or liquid-filled pipe. These systems are equally at home on tank truck or rail car applications and are customised to perfectly suit each application.
To learn more, be sure to attend Alec's presentation.
The friendly and knowledgeable Carbis Loadtec team will be on hand at the show at stand D32 to provide insight and ideas to help forward-thinking clients to develop processes now that will meet the needs of future industrial environments. Do spend some time with them to discuss your Fall Prevention and Tanker Loading challenges.
